My name is Daniel B Soto. I always knew I had an interest in art. The problem was how to develop my interest into something more. That interest developed in painting, drawing, sculpting, and even pottery. One person who guided and maybe some inspiration when I was at a local community college was my mom. She reminded me how much I liked to draw growing up. That conversation encouraged me to take a drawing course then a painting course which evolved into a graphic design course. I graduated from the same community college with an associate degree. Afterward, I graduated from Rutgers University. I took courses in web, graphic design, animation, and film. I learned Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign. I taught myself quark just by doing. Quark? Yeah, I know. Who uses quark anymore? I did. I learned more as the years went by. One thing is for sure, I learned to stay persistent and eager to learn as much as possible. The plain and simple truth is you never stop learning.
